Knowledge transfer
One of the main goals of every International Agenda, also present in the Spanish Urban Agenda, is the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices that affect our towns and cities.
This section seeks to provide a platform for sharing and disseminating all those practices that, due to their characteristics and specifics, can contribute to achieving any of the goals of the strategic framework, while at the same time encouraging creativity and providing viable solutions for sustainable urban development.
Publications
This catalogue, prepared by the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, identifies, and shows 66 real examples of plans, actions and projects that have been successfully implemented in towns and cities in Spain and that are perfectly aligned with the strategic objectives promoted by the AUE. The Catalogue is presented as a useful tool for Local Entities in the development of their Action Plans and encourages the exchange of knowledge promoted by the AUE.
Number 707 of the Magazine of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda contains an article on the AUE, in which it is presented as an opportunity to rethink the inherited urban model and relate it to contemporary social values.
This monographic issue of the agenda is intended to promote knowledge of the Urban Agenda: its formation, contents, objectives, expectations, etc.
This guide prepared by MITMA and co-published with the MEFP aims to bring the content of the Spanish Urban Agenda closer to the children's community, so that boys and girls assume the importance of the environment in which they live, play and study, and to which they relate.
Since 2018, CyTET magazine has had a section on Comparative Studies on regulations that, in addition to fulfilling the functions entrusted to the General Subdirectorate for Urban Policies of the Ministry related to the promotion and preparation of studies and research papers on urban policies and land, contribute to its dissemination at the service of the agents in charge of the implementation of the Agenda, as a knowledge tool that may be useful to them.

- Report of the Working Group on University Urbanism and Sustainability of the CRUE-Sustainability sector, on the actions that are being carried out by Spanish Universities and others that can be implemented
- Report on other Urban Vulnerability Observatories and their link with urban neighbourhood regeneration policies in Europe and Spain
- Report on the plans and programmes associated with the Sustainable Urban Development Strategies (EDUSI) and their link with urban vulnerability in Spain within the framework of the new urban challenges (2021).
Collaborations
The actions identified below refer to various collaborations of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda that are made available to all urban actors as documentation that may be of interest for their contribution to the implementation of the Spanish Urban Agenda. All of them form part of the strategic and integrated vision contained in the Agenda’s Action Plan itself and have a direct impact on the strategic objectives proposed by its Decalogue.
Spain and the European Union
The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe has published this document that offers a multidisciplinary approach aimed at the various levels and profiles of urban politicians (including mayors, urban planners, transport infrastructure engineers, etc.). The document offers a wealth of resources and references to multiple case studies, good practices and examples from cities that can help to more effectively integrate urban mobility requirements and spatial planning priorities into decision-making, in order to make our cities more liveable and prepare them for a greener, more mobile, digital and innovative futurer.
On 30 November 2017, the Policy Lab "The construction of the SPANISH URBAN AGENDA within the framework of other national urban policies in Europe" took place, in which other experiences and European urban policies in relation to the Urban Agenda were explored.
On 12 December, the seminar "Opportunities for Development and Innovation in Rural Areas" was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works: European Experiences / Opportunities for Development and Innovation in Rural Areas: European Experiences” organised in collaboration with the European Urban Knowledge Network, within the framework of COP 25.
On 14 January 2021, MITMA in collaboration with the European Urban Knowledge Network -EUKN- organised the Policy Lab “Facing and learning from COVID-19 in virtual format: Urban strategies in Europe and Spain for a resilient future”.
On 16 November 2021, MITMA in collaboration with the European Urban Knowledge Network -EUKN- organised the Policy Lab “The integrated approach in Urban Policies: European and Spanish experiences”.
On 29 November 2022, the Policy Lab “Putting the integrated approach into practice: Integrated urban regeneration experiences in Europe and Spain” was organised by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and the European Urban Knowledge Network EUKN (European Urban Knowledge Network).

UPM: “Proximity Planning”
The purpose of this blog is to define and disseminate the proximity city as a key concept for urban resilience, generate synergies between the research community and make it more accessible to professionals and the general public.

IDAE: Travel to Work Schemes
As stated in O.E.5 of the Spanish Urban Agenda, sustainable transport systems are needed to promote an efficient economy, a healthy environment, good air quality and the well-being of its inhabitants. Aligned with this, the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) launched a sustainable mobility web portal, with the suggestive name of "Move to work with a plan", which highlights a guide to facilitate companies the implementation of Travel to Work Schemes.

EGOKI-2 Project

Provincial Council of Cordoba: SDG Working Grou
The Cordoba Provincial Council, through this working group, offers different types of information on its participation in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. Among them, the document “We participate in Dipucordoba 2030” stands out, approved in the plenary session on 20 February 2019 as a technical support tool for mandate plans.

This barometer explores the role of homes, schools, and office buildings in the Green Recovery, collecting relevant facts and insights from recent years so that they can inspire a renewed focus on healthy and sustainable buildings, in light of efficient means for a fast and green recovery.
Observatories and networks
Within the “Governance” section of the AGE Action Plan are a series of networks and observatories used as tools to facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge and the improvement of statistical capacities and access to statistical information and databases.
