The School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) integrates the teaching of the Spanish Urban Agenda into its Enabling Master's Degree in Architecture and its Master's Degree in Urban and Territorial Planning (MUPUT).
The aim is for students to become familiar with this framework so that they can incorporate the most efficient and sustainable solutions in their future projects, from the renovation of neighborhoods to the energy efficiency rehabilitation of buildings.
Curso 2020-2021
The seminar entitled "Spanish Urban Agenda" took place on February 18th 2021. It was organized within the framework of the seminars of the Research Network "Resilience: spaces for adaptation of our cities to new urban challenges" (RE-ADAP Network) and within the framework of the Master's Degree in Urban and Territorial Planning (MUPUT) of the Department of Urban Planning and Territorial Planning ETSAM-UPM.
Based on the presentations that took place during the day and in a subsequent round table discussion with the speakers, reflection was made on the topics and tools to face the challenges of our cities within the framework of the Spanish Urban Agenda.
Curso 2023-2024
The School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM), committed to sustainability, includes in its Masters the knowledge and implementation of the criteria and objectives of the Spanish Urban Agenda.
The Spanish Urban Agenda (AUE) is a strategic document that, in accordance with the criteria established by the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Urban Development Goals, the new Urban Agenda of the United Nations and the Urban Agenda for the European Union, pursues the achieving sustainability in urban development policies.
