The Valencian Community agreed in 2019 to start the process of preparing the Valencian Urban Agenda
Its mission is to guide the set of urban policies in the Valencian Community, through policies, plans, projects, or regulatory instruments necessary to promote an integrated and balanced urban development, within the framework of the Territorial Strategy of the Valencian Community. In its preparation, citizen participation and the establishment of public-private collaborations and entities interested in the urban sector are considered.
The Valencian Urban Agenda seeks to be a useful tool in the search for sustainability for its territory and to this end the Catalogue of Solutions shows real examples inspired by the same principles of the Urban Agenda. It is aligned with the methodology of the Spanish Urban Agenda.
