Principado de Asturias
The Principality of Asturias has presented, through the Ministry of Rural Environment and Territorial Cohesion, the Diagnosis, and the Strategic Framework of its Urban Agenda (AURA), and they are currently preparing their Action Plan.
This framework proposes a strategic vision in the medium and long term that will allow optimising resources through the creation of synergies between the different functional regions to improve the productivity of the different government policies, encompassing the rural and urban areas. The Agenda will also facilitate collaboration between the regional Administration and the councils.
It focuses on collaboration and citizen participation, as well as on improving mobility, accessibility, and quality of life for the inhabitants of Asturias. The Asturias Urban and Rural Agenda aims to create more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable cities and regions in the long term. It is aligned with the methodology of the Spanish Urban Agenda.
